We all have those essential items we travel with and one thing that I have recently been introduced to is L’OCCITANE en Provence hand cream. It has always been one of those products I was unsure about buying because I have very sensitive and dry skin. If you have ever experienced this, then I am sure you understand. Most lotions dry my skin out more or I suffer an allergic reaction to them.
Whilst shopping one day, I noticed this new hand cream by L’OCCITANE. I thought I would try the limited edition Mango Flower and I can honestly say that after trying this cream, the smell is amazing, application is very smooth plus an added benefit that it really seems to heal my skin. I am so happy that I found something that works and I can’t wait to try more products from this brand.
Several different stores sell L’OCCITANE products, all about the same price. The hand cream that I bought is a 1oz tube (Perfect for traveling) that cost $12.00 from Sephora.
The Pros
- Smooth texture
- Great Smell
- Wide selection of products
The Cons
- Expensive
- Traveling with cream (I end up leaving them if I don’t check-in a bag)
Conclusion
I know its a bit off topic but anytime I find a product that works, its worth doing a review. If you are like me and find it difficult to buy lotion that actually works for you, I suggest that you try this hand cream. Your skin deserves to feel greatness.

Ah I love L’occitane hand cream! I take it everywhere. The lavender one is my favourite – never seen the mango one over here? Will have to keep an eye out for it.
You must try the Mango if you can get your hands on it, smells AMAZING!!!
I love L’Occitane products! I always have a travel size hand cream in my bag. They are so great for keeping my hands hydrated even in the driest climates.
Very True!! As I am just now realizing what an incredible product this is, it’s always nice to know how this product helps us all!
12 dollars for 1 oz seems pretty steep to me but if it is good quality I’d consider it, especially since my hands get soo dry!
It is very expensive I thought the same thing, but I promise you that this is a product that will cure your dryness, I will buy more for sure. 🙂
I have such dry skin and it’s such a huge pet peeve of mine – I hate spending money but considering you’d probably spend the same amount of money using more lotion that doesn’t work, I suppose it would even itself out.
I was in the boat, Everything I tried never worked like I wanted it to. This cream is amazing!! The ole Phrase “you get what you pay for” fits perfectly with this product.
