Orlando is a haven of accommodation options, many of which are luxurious and pricey while others are affordable but have very little in terms of amenities or features that all the family can enjoy. However, we believe we have found the perfect alternative. CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort – Orlando is the ultimate “affordable” option and ideal for all the family to enjoy everything Orlando has to offer.
Orlando, Florida is understandably one of the iconic tourist hotspots throughout the United States but with theme parks such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios waiting to attract your attention, it can quickly become a pretty expensive adventure.
During our recent visit to Orlando, we were fortunate to spend two nights at this gorgeous hotel and water park and we are convinced that this is the ideal accommodation option for families looking for an affordable vacation. CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort – Orlando is perfectly situated on International Drive and easily accessible from I-4. Not only is this an affordable hotel option, the added incentive of having a water park on site makes this a great amenity for all the family to enjoy.
When you throw in the mix that this resort is only a short distance from Universal Studios (2 miles), SeaWorld (4 miles) and Disney World (9 miles), you can see why we are so excited by this resort.
We opted to rent a car from Orlando International Airport as it gave us a little more flexibility to explore other parts of Orlando.
However, if you prefer the “cheaper” option and would rather focus on using public transportation, you can easily take a shuttle, Uber or taxi to I-Drive where this hotel is located. Hop on the I-Ride Trolley Service that offers visitors the opportunity to explore everything International Drive has to offer. We strongly recommend purchasing one of these because, in terms of convenience and affordability, you cannot beat these prices!
