Location: El Teide National Park on the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands (Spain)
Author: Carmen Edelson @ Carmen’s Travel Tips
This photo was taken in the El Teide National Park on the island of Tenerife in the beauty Canary Islands. The Teide Volcano stands majestically in the background and Carmen has really captured a perfect shot here on a gorgeous day. I can just imagine exploring the wilderness here inside this national park before heading back to one of the coastal regions of Tenerife.

We get a great view of Teide over here in Gran Canaria. Some may say better than they do in Tenerife. Oh, that will wind up our neighbours.

Thanks Chris for featuring my photo this week. My family lives in Tenerife and I love going to El Teide National Park to see the volcano and the rock formations left by the last eruption. The terrain changes dramatically and becomes an amazing lunar landscape.

Hopefully you will get to experience El Teide sometime soon and the weather will be equally as gorgeous as when Carmen explored this part of Tenerife!
